NEED SOME INPUT =)

Hello ladies! I just want to ask what is an appropriate attire to wear to an evening wedding held at a hotel, 400+ guests. It will be in Texas on the month of May. I dont know the couple personally. I am related to the groom and was invited by his mom. Long, short? sleeves, no sleeves? colored or black dress? Suggestions please...

Thank you. =)

This was taken on the last wedding I attended...totally different venue =)

  1. Cece- probably, something knee length, bright color, sleeveless ( you can put a shawl over) or short sleeves. What dresses do you have in your closet? Are you planning to purchase smth new? The outfit you posted is just fab ( you are so very pretty!), but I understand you want smth different?

  2. Slastena: Thanks for the response. I will go through my closet and look at the dresses purchased for special occasions but havent had the occasion to wear hahaha. Hopefully those dresses are still current. I will post pictures and make you choose. I just wanted to narrow it down to long or short etc. I will take your suggestion and try to take out the short colored ones. If I dont find one I will definitely ask for your suggestions. Thanks so much again dear! Have a great weekend!

  3. Fo evening weddings I enjoy wearing my "fancy" dresses, the ones I buy and keep for months hoping for the chance to wear. You look fabulous in the dress in the photo, the color is great on you and the outfit so put together!

  4. @anonymous: thanks =) I wish the venue was at a beach but its not =( I dont know why when I buy those "fancy" dresses at the time it seems so wearable but when the occasion arises, its hard to find one that I like. The impulse is to buy a new one but I honestly dont want to. Im scared to walk in and find someone who has the same dress! The good thing about the dress in the picture is that it was I helped design it, added the ruffles and the roses for the sandals. It was a wedding in Asia and it was easy to have things made here, there is always a risk for someone to have the same dress =( fingers crossed that it wont happen =)

  5. I'm with anon, it's always an excuse to get glammed up and wear one of my "fancy dresses" that hang expectantly in my wardrobe.
